Welcome, and I assume you're Navy (best branch of the military ). Lots of mods on here, just gotta hit up the search. I'd start with GSXR mirrors, puig racing screen, integrated tail, flush mount turn signals. Those will change up the appearance a bit and make it look much nicer.Hello!
I'm the proud owner of a 2014 FZ6R; I love the bike. I'm currently in San Diego, and the bike is my daily driver. I'd like to get some ideas on some more streamline cosmetic changes for the bike to get a more sleek look!
Welcome to the forum! I'm new around here too. A really nice bunch of folks on here.Hi all - just joining from the DC area. I've got a 2009 black FZ6R with about 16,000 miles I bought in August and have been loving ever since. With good weather I usually ride like 2/3 times a week.
Mods (all done by previous owner): Dan Moto exhaust, smoked fender eliminator, integrated tail light, frame sliders, black & red Shorty brake and clutch levers, Puig tinted wind screen.
Haven't seen another FZ6R around the city - hope I'm not the only one...
I think the Ninja 650R is a better choice than the FZ6R. The FZ6R has a strange extremely top heavy feel. Coming from the 1200S though I'm sure you'd find the FZ6R subjectively lighter. The feel may be similar though in that the bikes will feel relatively the same in weight since the FZ6R happens to be so top heavy. Other than that, I think the FZ6R is a great choice.Heya Folks,
I'm really a curious member. I don't own a FZ6R yet, but I would like to ask ya'll a few questions. I'm looking for a bike that will be my "Around the county friend". I want something that is resonably light, has a fairly upright riding position, a full fairing, and can keep up with traffic on the interstate.
I have a long distance steed, a '04 Suzuki 1200S Bandit, which I love. But, she is kinda heavy for around town. My local dealer has a '15 FZ6R for 6,200 bucks. If I like the feel of it I think I will buy it. Think it's a fair deal and a good fit for my purpose? Thanks
