Thought I posted something here, guess it was just on facebook. Appologies, I've had numerous exrta rehearsals, I conducted 4 concerts last week, and I have and extra rehearsal during my lunch plus 2 concerts today on top of my usual teaching. Busy busy busy busy......... :surrender::surrender::surrender::surrender:
Back on track. Monday, Memorial Day, our local group is taking a ride. Start about 2:00pm from the Gaithersburg Taco Bar / Gas Station outside the Rio Washingtonian Center. I'll slap an address in here after my frenzied day today.
We will depart and head for White's Ferry. It's a few dollars each to ride the ferry across, so bring $5 cash or whatever. We might stop for food, drinks, whatever or ride straight through depending on group needs and wants. Where we go from there is debatable, we have many options for many fun roads, maybe through Frederick, down to point of rocks. Thankfully my two best friends are human-GPS and know all these roads well.
We expect a total non-stop ride around 2 hours. If you want to cut off at any time, that's fine. If you want to ride longer I'm sure some of us would continue onward. I know we all like speed, but no one will make you ride faster than you are comfortable. All makes and models welcome.
Please let me know if you're in so we don't leave without you. Also, feel free to pass this on to anyone else you know who might want in.
