Lowering Link for better handling?

I had mine lowered for a season and while it wasn't exactly worse, it wasn't better. The handling did have quite a different feel for me, more stable but not better. The bike is really stable as it is with the stock height so it wasn't a net gain for me. Plus I still wasn't able to flat foot with sneakers on with a 28/29 inseam. I might be more like a 27/28 inseam...

Either way I felt the bike handled best with the front lowered and the rear at stock height so I took it off. My experience.
