Ive made the decision not to upgrade exhaust.

Beyond the OP's listing their reasons for not upgrading, was there a point?

Besides we all know:

Louder=Better, just not necessarily safer.

Here's my take; do loud pipes help make you safer? I don't know, but they can't hurt.

I want to kick you in the nuts for even remotely thinking anything is faster than the superior cadmium yellow superbikes. Dont make me get my flamethrower and flame you for such flaming thoughts. :rtfm:

You know why it's called Cadmium Yellow? Because if they named it what they really wanted to, Cadbury would have sued them.

On a serious note my bike developed a weird noise in the exhaust and actually sounded even quieter. I have the stock exhaust. Upon careful examination of the muffler I had a restriction. Sure enough I had sucked a Yellow bike right up the exhaust pipe.

Ive made the decision not to upgrade exhaust.


After several long daydreaming sessions of getting the TBE ive decided to stick with stock..


My reasons:

I like being able to fly down the road with noone hearing me especialy cops(thank you cautious corner)

I have flown up on cops a few times and needless to say no problems. I have also seen a few bikes pulled over that I know were heard long before they reached the cop sitting in the alley.

I have heard motorcycles off in the distance flying down the road and I kind of like not being heard until im there.

1,000 bucks for an exhaust and juicebox?


Is a louder bike cool? Absolutly but for now, ill stick with stock and be thankful for what I have as there is always somethings faster & louder..

If I want to sound loud, I take my Roadstar with the CObra 2-1 Pro-pipe - that gets noticed.
