Motorcycle police are required to practice these kinds of manuevers all the time. I have an empty parking lot that I have marked a figure eight course inside four parking spaces and I try to spend some time practicing on it most days that I ride. I suck at it but everyday I get a little better at leaning and holding a smooth turn. Very hard to do but I think worth the time and effort, plus fun to see the improvement.
