Clip ons, not Woodcraft

Hey everyone. I wanted to post this just to spread it around I suppose! I wanted to do Woodcraft clip ons but really didn’t wanna spend 200 for something I may not like. So I scoured the internet and found one person who posted on YouTube about using clip ons for a Sv650. Searched eBay and found a bunch for 30-50 bucks and figured why not? If I hate it then I’m only out a small amount compared to Woodcraft.

They came in yesterday, and after a good cleaning I put them on. They have roughly a 1.5” lift and fit no problem. After adjusting the controls and setting it all up I may just keep them and put money towards an exhaust lol.

Wow man, looks great. Did you have to lower the front end? Also do you know where I can buy something similar that will fit? I'm from South Africa so 200 dollars in my currency is a very large sum of money.

If you could find a scrapped SV650 you could snag a set. Otherwise are there eBay, marketplace, etc there? Swap meets even?

Are those 'aftermarket' clip-ons. or some sort of stock to SV650s? Seem to be various incarnations of the clip-ons, different dimensions as well.

These are factory clip ons for a 2008 sv650. They worked out great and I like them a lot so far
