I purchased these today. Only 40 bucks. Rests on your neck, yet you can listen to music via blue-tooth from your iphone. I like that I can just use the buds as ear protection or to listen to music & you can control it with buttons so I dont have to adjust the phone or rip chords out of my ear when I need silence. While not made for the bike, I think I have a use for it on & off it. Appears as though you can make phone calls with it also..

It is, but knowing I can carry these when I go walking(which I do), riding my bicycle(which I do) or at the gym(which I do) I thought for 40 bucks I'd try them.


I want to get a UCLEAR since it has no boom but also want to buy one for my wife's helmet. again, these are "wants". Not sure if I will actually pull the trigger or not ...

I hear you, seems multi-purpose!

I bought the sena smh-5 dual kit from motorcycle superstore for $186. Works really well and i think it doesn't get better than that for price to performance.

They look nice and seem like a good idea.. Just make sure you have double checked your states laws.. In MN you can only have a audio source going to 1 ear. The other ear must be open or plugged.

Same here in PA. Unless you make it blatantly obvious that you have two no one will be the wiser.

It is legal in my state. Not that there is a law allowing you to wear head phones rather there is no law prohibiting you from wearing them.

I've been having a hard time finding the right headphones. I really don't care much about phone capabilities. My bike is the last place I want anyone calling me. I plug in to an iPod Nano clipped to my jacket sleeve cuff, so wireless doesn't factor in much either. Quietness, however, is the biggest deal for me. I want something that really kills the wind noise. Do you mind tossing out an update after using them and telling how well they block wind noise?

Sure... According to my tracking they are in route. The secondary reason for me buying these as I was using ear buds hooked up to my phone for music but had to run the wire through my jacket ect. Also, If I wanted to turn the music down it was a PITA as gloves & phone buttons can be difficult. I would think just sticking the buds in your ear all by themselves would seal the canal thus reducing wind noise but will update once tested..

I have a set of buds that look similar, and I can't seem to get a good seal. Maybe my ears are mutated or something. Nano works great because it's right on my wrist like a watch. Makes it easy to manipulate at stoplights. Looks like these earphones solve the control issue for you, but if you're looking for a great way to have music on your bike that is convenient, buying a Nano is worth it.

I have had these bluetooth headphones for quite some time now and absolutely love 'em. Great battery life, sound quality and overall solid build. :thumbup:

My Review....

Well, I must say these things are pretty neat. No real Cons to report. Mainly positives..

#1 The buds fit deep & don't stab into my lobe. They also fit great while wearing the helmet.

#2 I can pause, tun off, skip songs with the side button even with my gloves.

#3 I can control the volume even with my gloves on.

#4 These are also used as a blue tooth to answer the phone which I don't think would be usable while riding however, At least I know I have a call coming in.

#5 The way they sit on your neck is great & can't even feel them. They way nothing.

#6 The Speaker wires are perfect length with enough slack for head movement.

#7 Sound is crisp, clear & fairly loud

#8 When I don't want the music on, they make OK ear protection from window noise but would probably fit everyones ear canal slightly differently.

#9 Battery life seems great.

I bought these for around 40 bucks shipped.


I give this product an 8 out of 10. To me, nothing is a 10 so 8 out of 10 is pretty strong. I also see myself using these at the gym, when riding my bicycle, walking, ect...
