I don't have that problem (hand numbness) after the -1 front change and softer grips, if you grip to hard it will make a difference too.
I would say the -1 made the most difference of all.

That -1 mean the sprocket thingy? there must be some down side to changing the sprocket isn't there? not to mention sounds expensive. i have the dual gel or whatever progrips, like i said aside from kuryakan they seemed about as soft as you get. i still want to try kuryakan with the throttle boss but you would have to lose the bar ends and its 60-80$ to "try" them so i haven't yet.
