Exhaust Wrap

Soo I was about to buy some wrap to wrap my exhaust to get that exhaust out faster!!!
But unfortunately I cannot :eyebrow:

I have the TBR C/F Exhaust
I just called two brothers asking them by wrapping the exhaust if the c/f can would possibly get damaged.
they said yes it will crack the Carbon Fiber Can... go figure
they also said YES this has happened before to a lot of people haha


SO if you have a C/F Exhaust Never wrap it....Now Proven

Wrapping your headers keep the exhaust gas hot and travel faster... My guess it probable melt the carbon fiber resin. The wrapping is the 70's old school way of doing it. Ceramic coating is the way to go. I think they coat inside out...

ya but i cant coat them either because it will still mess up my can and then i will go canless lol

coating is expensive like 100-150 for a 4cyl header

lol that is not the 1st time I've heard that.

I have also heard that wrapping the headers can cause them to rust out faster since the wrap will hold moisture in against the headers. No first hand experience with it though...

my can cost me 300bucks im not just gonna get rid of it haha I don’t care that much if anything I would just trade with another member and coat my pipes so I can go faster bhahaaaaa

My can is wrapped, but I made it from steel.
Keeps heat down rather well.

ya im sure they could have put tin foil on the back side of the C/F to reflect alot of heat.... tbr you expensive fools

Looks cool and somewhat lighter than aluminium. And while you are riding can cools down a bit.
