Crankshaft Position sensor wire

I am connecting a LED gear indicator, that requires one of the wires to be tapped into the light grey wire on the crankshaft position sensor. I am having difficulty finding that connector/wire under the tank or anywhere.

I have searched the subject. I've determined it's a two wire connector. One post said, "this sensor comes right off the crank case. You can actually see this wire when looking at the side of the bike. "There are no pics in the posts I searched.

Can anyone show me a pic or help me by describing in detail where I am missing this thing?

Probably my post, I installed one a while back and instructions were horrible so I shared what I learned. Programming was easy though.
