So our trip was fun and successful! We went down north avenue, back roads by rt 47 and then up to lake geneva and back. Total of around 180 miles. We got to race with an awesome Audi R8 as well. Here are some pics...cutout from helmet cam.

Has anyone here tried the Autobahn in Joliet? I was thinking of trying to go this summer just for fun and wanted some inside information on it.

Autobahn is a fun track. Try to make it to either Memorial Day or Labor day weekends. You get all three tracks, Sat - North , Sun -South, Mon- Full.

I was gonna ride yesterday but the girlfriend didn't dress appropriate and was gonna be to cold for her. I'm from the Lombard area.

im in south east michigan but i will be taking my bike to downtown chi-town soon. leaving either the 17th or 18th of april and heading back to MI probably the 22nd. it'll be a 4-5 hour trip both ways and depending on when i leave during the day i might be able to squeeze in a ride with whomever is free. at the very least if you want to meet up with me at a stop then just ride with me for a leg of my trip then that's cool too. let me know chicago-land bikers!

I'm not quite in Chicago; but I'm up in Oak Creek, WI now. I suppose I could condescend to ride with you flat-landers.

I'm up for rides. I don't know anyone else with a bike since I moved here other than my boss.

in addition to joining me for a ride in and out of the city, during business hours on thursday, friday, and monday i will be free if anyone wants to ride. the friend i am going to see will be working and i'll need to fill my day with something fun. :mikebike::Sport:
