I put the bike up on stands and took each wheel off to stripe it.

I've seen rims that were striped while attached to the bike, and the stripes end up looking more like decagons than circles... :eyebrow:

Yes, its a bit more of a process to take off the wheels -- but to get a nearly perfect circle, its the best way to go.

(it's also easiest way to wash all the road crap off of the wheels before putting on the stripes)

I haven't seen it, but I imagine it's been done. Red and Blue is not a common color scheme, but it's not rare. Just look at Superman. However, I don't typically find red and blue as appealing without a more vibrant color involved. Even Superman has a splash of yellow.

If you're wanting to play with ideas for color combinations, this is a good tool. I've used it several times for web-design, and coloring in sketches.

My bike is all black with the stickers removed im thinking about maybe getting some green wheel stripes for mine , kinda go a different route , If i ever get the money i want to paint it Kawasaki green anyways

I tried adding red strips on my bike a few weeks ago after seeing someone with red rims here on the forums. Needless to say it did not look the same as the other user after adding them. Maybe it was the fact that the other person had them painted on... lol

i bought reflective rim tape for my yellow fz6r and when i got it i became immediately depressed. the "yellow" rim tape is noting similar to the yellow of my fz6rf. therefore what do i do?
