Adult owned 2009 Yamaha FZ6R with just under 5k miles. This bike is in showroom condition - not a scratch on it and meticulously maintained. I listed the bike last summer but was out of town so much I never ended up selling it.

Yes, the mirrors are from an '09 zx6r and there is a very slight modification to the plastic necessary. I can't believe nobody has scooped this bike up yet - it's essentially a brand new bike but with better looking seat/mirror/levers ; )
Price lowered top $5500

They say its better to just hit the deer but let's be honest. If something jumps out in front of you (especially as big as a deer), it's just a natural instinct to swerve to try and avoid it. I suspect the overwhelming majority who do hit the deer were trying to swerve but just didn't clear it.
Here are a few pics of the Kawi '09 ZX-6R mirrors I picked up off ebay. They will require some drilling since the bolt spacing is not the same. I took it out for a quick spin and after some slight adjustments all I can say is WOW!!! I can actually see behind me now w/o having to bring my...
I just picked up a set of '08 Kawi ZX6 mirrors on ebay. Not sure if they are the same bolt pattern but I like the sharper look better than the rounded pre '08 versions. Think they go better with the overall styling of the bike. I'll snap a photo if they fit - if not, then back on ebay they...
I got caught out in the rain on Saturday. Not a fun driving experience at all. Going thru standing water and other puddles with little visibility just sucked (not to mention a jack@ss who thought it would be funny to get right up on my tail). I eventually pulled into a station but realized...
I haven't noticed any more grip with these covers. Of course, I've only gone on a few trips and not in high temps yet. The material is a smooth carbon fiber patterned material. It seems a little more thicker than the stock seats as well.
I requested the red stitching to match with the rest of the bike. I'm sure they can do a blue or yellow version. Also, I asked for a really simple style - they also do flames, bolder lines, etc...
Here are a few pics of the seat covers the folks over at luimoto.com did up for me. Not sure how much a set will cost - I sent mine in for the prototyping. Anyway, I'm very happy with them. Enjoy!!
Here's a clip of the LeoVince clip-on for the European XJ6. Seems to be just a cosmetic solution (no HP gain) but I like the looks.

Looks like the UK will have a full fairing version for 2010. Pic shows single seat and what looks like a center stand (blue bike pic has better angle). Soooo Yamaha has some 'splainin' to do to the US market. Why no ABS option in the US market and why isn't the center stand standard??? I...
As most of you know, the Euro spec bikes (XJ6) have a slightly different design (bodywork, seat, wheels, color scheme, etc...). The XJ6 also has a real hazard light (US spec is dummy button) and comes standard with a center stand.
My question: Is there a source online so that I can order XJ6...
