Thinking about a new bike... I'm probably going to keep my FZ6R... just rolled 35,000 miles on it. However, it would be nice to be able to go anywhere, dirt, sand or street...
What do you guys think of the new 2013 Super Ténéré Worldcrosser? The bike looks cool, from the reviews it sounds...
Hey Stan. We should hook up for a ride sometime. My wife and I take a Sunday ride up to the mountains or down to Huntington Beach. I ride the 10 to Rialto every day, may have passed each other at some point. Mine is yellow though. Take care. PM me if want to hook up for a ride with us. Sounds...
I still ride in the wind... just have to stay tucked down. There is always wind on the i10... just have to get used to it. Still a little sketchy at times though!
Does anyone in the Inland Empire or SoCal area want to plan a ride one weekend soon. My wife and I went for a ride up to Oak Glen today... lots of snow, the roads were clear. Would be fun to ride with some other bikes. If anyone wants to ride up to big bear or take the scenic loop through Oak...
We just moved from AZ and I asked a cop what we should do.. that was exactly what he said to do... the only problem with that is that sometimes route changes to avoid intersections is often a huge inconvenience. I prefer to just run the red lights.. providing it is safe.
I just took the CA Motorcycle Test.. if you wait for 2 light changes and the left arrow does not turn green.... then you can go if it is safe... not sure about going straight, I would assume the same would apply. If a cop pulls you over it may be a good opportunity to ask what you should do :^)
You have some great riding from Santa Barbara! We went to Pismo Beach last summer, and from Santa Barbara you have some awesome rides going north! Check out Sulvang if you have not been there yet.
Hey Jeff. We moved down to Redlands from Havasu this winter. How are those mirrors working for you. Take care. We go to Huntington Beach pretty often. We will have to get a hold of you for a ride next time. Talk soon.
Thank you!
Thank you everyone for all the info. Most of my riding is my daily commute down i10... however it is not to often that the traffic is loose enough to hit any high speeds. I do need the quicker acceleration for certain situations. I really appreciate all the info. So, I guess it was...
SoCal Riding
We are right at the base of Big Bear Mountain... waiting for the roads to thaw out for some nice spring riding. Hopefully soon. My wife and I rode to Huntington Beach last weekend. Let us know when a ride is being coordinated. We will try to make it.
Any advise will be much appreciated... I searched the threads but did not find anyone who has done this gearing. I just ordered the Driven Power Up Kit. It will be here Monday. I decided to go with 15-47 for a -1 Front and +1 Rear. They say it will be faster off the line... just curious if...
