Anybody looking at getting a gear indicator should check out the Healtech. Very easy to install, couple minutes and programming is easy. It's auto learning so it is pretty simple. I've found it to be very quick and accurate. It shows the gear up or down immediately after letting the clutch back out (if you clutch LOL). I didn't really need this, but felt like doing something and just bought it. I do often have to kick all the way up or down, because I've forgotten which gear I was in. Just a nice addition to the bike. Looks good mounted just below the speedo/tach. I think they were going for $130 or maybe a little more, but they're $119 on Amazon right now. It's plug and play except 2 splices (with included splicers), but instructions supplied are wrong on which wires to tap. You need to tap a yellow wire under the tank for 12v switched power and a light gray for crank sensing. The light gray is a pain to find, need to trace from crankcase if you can't find it in there. One side of the harness isn't the same as the other which makes it even more difficult. Overall very easy to do and works very well.
