Got to get out today to test out some modifications I made to the machine & while I was out I got to meet our administrator 99Vengeur, & other forum members, BleedinBlue & Leem00. First time i've actually met someone from the forum. Great fella's.


While I was out I finally took some photo's of the new machine & will try to attach them.


I put quite a few miles on the bike today. I still have a LOT to learn. When I hit the highway I need to learn to not twist the throttle so much lol. Bleed , sorry for my sqidness lol. Anywho...

I'm just glad that I could keep up with you, I was worried until after we parted ways lol.

I know you took it a little easy, but I was expecting you to disappear once we started working our way through traffic on 465.The 6r suprised me big time.

Disclaimer, we were 5mph under the speed limit the entire time lol

Just an observation. You could always get an admin to change it to something more fitting to your new bike. If only you knew an admin...

So... How was it transitioning from a nimble 600cc to that monster? I rode one of the new ZX-14Rs and it was super weird... felt like a cruiser in weight and size but with sporty stance/power. Can't imagine going to such a different bike for more than just a short ride. Though I bet it's fun to unleash it, so to speak.

It's a little scary, but then again, It was a little scary when I first got the 600. And if I really wanna go there, it was a little scary when I first got a bicycle lol.

Btw I forgot to say that I vote for the Buell peg mod.With your knees bent, that inch will feel like two.You did say it only moves them down right?Not forward or anything?

Technically, 1" 1/8th. Down only & I probably am going to do it. I've seen a few in person and it should help. Then again, when i'm not riding with over pants stock feels perfect.

It will be a little while before I do anything more to it though. After changing to a double bubble, new plugs, diff air filter, ecu flash & a few other things it's time for me to just ride it as is and get used to it more.I have some spirited group rides coming up so I need some saddle time. But when round 2 of the mods happen it will be #1 or 2 on the list.
