Ha ha, almost the same here - one bike at age 19 (Yami 175 Enduro) for about a year, then no bike for 20 yrs, then FZ6R (8000 miles in 6 mos.), now gixxer (11,000 miles).6 months = approx 8500 miles on the 6R.
I started riding dirt bikes when I was 12 or 13. When I was 18, I bought one of those little YSR's. I rode for about six months before I :wreck:then went 20 years without a bike (had kids).
I don't find that too terribly hard to believe. I know a guy who has a motorcycle only license.Ha! The first motorcycle I ever rode was my boss's Rebel. He got it when I told him I was getting a motorcycle. Bit of a mid life crisis buy, I think.
And to answer Ghost's question, I've got just over 20K miles between my two bikes over six years of riding. 7,000 of that came last year on the new 6R. So much more fun to ride for longer distances than my Ninja 500.
Oh, and Chuck, ZERO cars?!? That's hard for me to wrap my head around.
