Last week was my last deload week before starting this first "work" wave.

I do 4 weeks of a "work" wave followed by 1 or 2 deload week(s).

Today was my favorite day; ME lower body (in my case, I do deads)

Warm-ups:
135x1
135x5
235x5
330x3
425x1

Work sets:
475x2
500x1
515x1

Speed sets:
400 3x3

Rest of the workout follows as lower back, hamstring and hip accessory exercises.

Feeling pretty good, lol.

Dang!! that's some heavy *** weight! now I need to see some pics
I'll try to film some next week.

I compete in the 220 class (even though I'm about 210) in deadlift only. For my weight class im in the lower tier for strength, lol.

I despise benching the most while squats are too judgmental; one ref will say its ok, while the two others say no. That's why I compete in the deadlift, you either get it up or don't.

I'm guessing these will help quicker than assisted pullups? as you're using you own weight and working all the muscles needed in negative reps?

pullups on my short list of goals, used to be able to do them all day long, now can't do one
He might be too tall to use that assisted pull-up machine.

Bench day: felt weak today but, at least the numbers didn't show too bad.

A1) 105lb max. reps in a row (got 14).

B1) 5 x 12 Parallel Bar Dips, unassisted.

C1) 5 x 12 Seated Row, 90lbs. Usually aim for over 100lb.

D1) 5 x 12 Wide Grip Lat Pull Down, 90lbs. Again, usally aim for 110lbs.

Then....

30 yard prowler push x 20 lengths @ 150lb. I was gassed.

Now I gotta sit in a class all weekend learning about Air Brakes. DZ license here I come...not looking forward to all day classes filling up my weekend.

I wake up at 4 am, eat a nature valley bar and go to the gym. Directly after the workout out I drink protein and eat some cereal.

I generally go to the gym early in the morning & go on an empty stomach. Then after the gym I eat a nice big meal so that my body absorbs the nutrients. Shortly after the meal I drink a protein shake. I am considering having something before my work-out to see if it helps, hurts, ect...

To the gym goers, What is your diet routine prior to going to the gym?
Usually 8oz of chicken with 4 pop-tarts.

After is usually 12oz of ground turkey or lean beef with rice and whichever sauce I decide to use at that time.
