Stripped Bolt Stuck in Clutch Casing Cover

So I'm in love with the R&G engine sliders but the silly Brits sent me washers that won't fit and hex bolts with tiny socket holes. This lead to me stripping a few of the bolts. To their credit they sent me replacements but I ended up just buying my own with larger socket holes.

Unfortunately one pesky bolt got stripped as I was trying to torque it down to spec (which is 39 ft-lbs for the clutch casing cover bolts, right???). So now this stripped bolt is stuck in there. Back in the day I learned how to remove stripped bolts with a drill but I am super scared of ****ing up and damaging the clutch casing cover. Has anybody successfully pulled this off? Tips? I'm thinking of just getting the mechanic to remove it on my next oil change.

Define stripped. When I hear stripped, I hear the threads came off the shank of the bolt. Some mean they rounded the head off (or out, in the case of Allen key type).

I'd back it out with an extractor bit if you've got a power drill.

Try one size up on the allen key and tap it in with a hammer. Or a stubby extractor will work. Snap ON and irwin is the only one i know of that has the stubby extractors.

I would use torx rather than allen. Torx edges cut into material much better.

An Impact Driver in reverse with a Torx might do it, if it's really tight. The driver works on impact, though so I'd try it with a deadblow hammer first, so "hopefully" as not to damage the cover.
