Ask for the supervisor! I was in a similar situation but in a work box truck.abuse of power... threatening to give a ticket when he obviously rear-ended someone....
as the biker, he handled it right... co-operative... but I'd file that with my insurance and let them go after the leo

That car was wanting to get over, biker wasn't sure if the car saw him. I would have slowed down too..
Cop plainly stated that you don't slam on the brakes when some one is "right behind you". The cop was definitely too close and not paying attention.
So stupid..
Same in Maryland. Even if someone slammed on their brakes in the middle of 65mph highway traffic, if YOU hit them, YOU are at fault.in PA if you get rearended it will be the fault of the person hitting you.
