Did you try stacking your bike insurance using your car insurance to lower your UIM payment? I have heard that statefarm uses only the size of the engine cc to rate the bike as well.

All the cars in my household, including my own, are under my father's name. He does not want my motorcycle a part of our family insurance because I'm much more of a risk factor and if something were to happen to me on the bike, the insurance would go up for every vehicle (his bike, all our cars, boats) we have under his name. I agree with his reasoning and that's why my insurance is separate.

I think insurance companies are just hating on 20-year olds!

I use State Farm and I'm 22 years old. I believe I pay $70 a month with pretty good coverage, considering I'm 22 and it's classified as a sports bike I thought that was pretty good. Did some quotes from other companies and I almost died. Not to change the subject... squinting photo?

I just got my quote from State Farm. They gave me the best deal out of all the ones I called. They quoted me 1389 (115/month), which still sucks. The worst one I got was 3000 from Allstate!

I think I'm going to have to stick with my 250 for a little longer. I am deeply saddened. (Why is there no crying smiley?)
Can I still hang around here since I plan to get an FZ6R?

I hope I'm not thread hijacking. Sorry >_<

I have State Farm insurance just on my FZ6R and it cost me $395.00 a year for full coverage.
