though my 1982 yamaha maxim 650 served it's purpose as a starter bike it was time to part ways. I picked up a leftover 2010 black and gold fz6r today. So far i love this bike. I just wanna say thanks to everyone on this forum all the info i found here made me confident that i was buying the right bike for me.

I'm too young to call that my childhood, but holy crap that brings back memories. That was the second movie I ever became addicted to (Goonies was the 1st) musta watched it at least 30 times when I was 10. Toad is still one of my favorite movie characters of all time.
