Saw you mention your wife's 250 in a different thread and it reminded me shoot you a link on this one. Apparently people have had good luck with this, I may get it and install it in my g/f's 250(one day).

To heck with carbs, make it FI (If you plan to keep it for a while anyway, kinda pricey if you're gonna swap it fairly quickly)

That's an oem conversion. The US is the only country where te ninja 250 is still carbs....

Yep, which is stupid since other 250s are coming out over here with FI(such as the cbr250). Kawasaki needs to get on the ball.

Actually, the 250 forum claims that the 2013 Ninja 250 is fuel injected! At some point she wants a 2008+ when the body style changed. At a retail of $3,999, it's almost the same price to buy a slightly used ninja and convert it compared to brand new.

Still, maybe I can find a similar kit or something used. Anyhow, thanks for the great info!

Yea the 2008+ 250s are much sexier, especially the 2013. That same kit does work on the newer ones too though(99-2011 apparently), but agreed that you might as well wait, save and then get the 2013 if it already has FI (from what I had read a while ago, FI was still speculation for the US version).
