I am looking for a pair of riding jeans. I have ordered 2 different pairs online and the cut on both has been huge! Namely at the bottom. My snow boots aren't big enough to fill the size of the bottom. Any suggestions for a pair that fit more like traditional jeans.

The Bilt Iron Workers kevlar jeans I bought fit pretty well.

How was the fit? The two other pairs I had to order a size bigger but reading the reviews on the built iron these actually run big. I normally wear a 36 in old navy jeans.

I ordered my actual pants size and they fit really well. Seems with most pants whether kevlar or textile or leather it's hit or miss with sizing regardless of brand. My Icon Overlord textile pants fit like $hit! The waist is fine, but knee armor is on my shins even though it's supposed to be for 30"-32" inseam.

They usually do that for fitting over motorcycle boots. I'll have to try on my Bilt pants tomorrow to refresh my memory on the bottoms. I'll let you know if you are interested in possibly buying some.

I have a couple of pairs of pants now,

a pair of textile pants that match my jacket (and zip to it) that are pretty good, they have CE approved armour in the knees and just some think PE crap in the hips and arse.

Also have a pair of Dririder Kevlar Jeans, these are my 2nd pair as I crash tested the first pair, the denim was torn to shreds but te Kevlar held true and I didn't have any abrasions on me, they also contain CE approved knee armour.
for work I have a pair of Hard Yakka Legend work pants that have the same textile stuff as my jackets etc on the knees, they will fit the CE knee armour out of my jeans on there for the work rides...

Tried my Bilt Iron Workers Kevlar Jeans on today and they fit exactly like my wrangler relaxed fit jeans. Size was almost spot on and no bell bottom. Armor sits a little low while walking but will move up when your knee is bent. From what I've read all pants with knee armor are the same way. I think they're on sale now (mine were full price and kind of expensive). Despite a bad rep for being cheap I've liked everything with the Bilt name that I have bought including my helmet.

By the way, they look like any other jeans and no one would ever know they are Kevlars.

I'm looking to replace my Overlord pants as well.Check out Motorcycle Superstores video review on the Speed and Strength Urge Overkill pants.

They are loaded with features for an overpant compared to the Overlords and are under $200.Waterproof shell, front and rear air vents, much better buckle system, elastic stretch panels, they even have hemm savers on the bottom of the legs so you can adjust the height behind your boot.As soon as I pay off my new jacket I'm ordering a pair to try.

I'll give them a look. I love the jeans, but would like a reliable overpant. Would make it much easier for work since I wear shorts most of the year (hot in the plant). I was just throwing jeans on overtop, but I have kevlar jeans now and Overlords, but the fit it horrible for such an expensive pants. I'm gonna try to get my wife or mother-in-law to modify them. My wife just ordered me some speed and strength moto mercenary shoes.

Im trying to save my Overlords to, they work well with pants underneath and most overpants seem tighter towards the ankle including the Speed and Strengths.So I'm hoping the S&S will work nicely with shorts underneath so I only need to wear my Icons when I'm wearing jeans.
