Yeah never dobe valve but ill have to look uo the details on my next service . I have to say i love the bike, i come home every day with some sort of excuse to ride it or at least sit on if lol

Spent all that time to be able to ride your 6r and you already moved on? Wtf? Just kidding, I moddes mine so much it's barely a fz6r. Its paid for and I still love it (now), but when I move on I think I'll be getting a cruiser. Love the speed of sport/super sports, but not the ergos so much. I turn 42 in a few days. Btw, valves on the 6r are easy to do if you're somewhat mechanically inclined. I had to check mine when I redid my head.

Glad to see your still around scott! The ergos on the monster arent bad at all i thibk its more comfy than the 6r i didnt have half the fatigue i got on the 6r when i took her for a 3 hour ride a couple months back, but what the monster lacks in weight it also lacks in the tank, shes only like a 3.5 gal tank so i get like 175 miles a tank vs the 225 i got with the 6r. I sat on a few cruisers and they just arent my flavor. When i have my own place ill likey pick another 6r up for the hell of it.

Yeah all that :bsflag: i had to go through for the 6r..... i loved that bike but next time i buy used from a private seller im going to be more thorough...

:thumbup: i wanted a gsx 1000F or somthing along those lines but coulding afford the insurance. Suprisingly full coverage on my duck is only $60 a month

I didn't do a quote, but I think because the fz10 is an upright and not a supersport the insurance shouldn't be too bad for me. I'm 42 in a few days so probably a bit cheaper for me. Being a liter bike regardless probably bumps up the insurance.

that's very true you're about the same age as my dad I wish I could convince him to get a newer bike but he is set on riding dirt and barely ever touches his street bike he has a 2001 ZX6R
