The link was just for an example. I didn't know what these were called, but they're available a ton of places. Gotta grab a pack of these.

So what is your retrofit design gonna look like or is it a secret? Don't remember the shroud name of mine off the top of my head, but it's gonna be painted hammered gray with a 6k bulb, and blue angel eye. Love the 6k bulbs. They are bright but with a slight tint of blue to it.

Im not keeping it a secret Hadnt thought to post...getting this shroud:

Check out the 3rd pic...the angel eye will sit in the back, rather than on the top. It'll be different than some of the others. The backing will be painted black, and the shroud will be white...getting the amber angel eye though...I think it will be a good contrast. Going with the 5K light (if not mistaken)...Im ok with a pure white.

Mine's the Iris shroud. Had to ask Chad, because I couldn't remember. LOL! I was thinking I got the ocular (very similar).

Ran across these...look like the perfect way to connect the angel eyes to the running light/ground on the turn signal:

I usually use waterproof butt connections, but you can use these:

That's what I usually use. Haven't had a problem with any of them yet. Been using them for years for car stereos.

I agree, any of those would work. I like the posi-taps because it would be really easy to act as a disconnect if I ever take the light off again for any reason.

I'm also looking at front and rear signals and other accent lights, and looking for simplified solutions all around...I feel like these are solid and secure solutions. Pricey yes, but I feel like they'd be worth it.
