Length of FZ6R Dip Stick

Hey all - changed my oil and it only dawned on me that I have no dip stick until after I added the new oil.

I figure I can check the oil using pretty much anything of length provided I know the full length of an FZ6R dip stick, but I unfortunately have none to measure nor can I find any lengths online. Does anyone happen to know this? Will make my day much easier if so. Appreciate any tips.

I would be getting a new dipstick. You don't want to leave that hole open. Contaminants, like water, can get in there.

Ah, should have specified i meant rather the metal stick bit was missing from the end of the dip stick it seems. The cap is still there. But even so, managed to find one at a local auto parts spot nearby!

that was my thought... that is bad and I wouldn't run the engine until I pulled the oil pan and looked for it!!!!
