well, you might find a dyno tuner who can eek 1-3% more peak hp with it (read <1-3hp more, maybe)... but def. not the gains of opening up the engine and re-tuning.... and that's free flow open up, not literally opening up.You don't have to adjust anything on the computer, that's what the juice box does. You're not going to see any sort of gains by doing this on a bike with the stock exhaust since the computer is setup for that already anyway.
I already have some numbers from the comparaison stock pipe vs. R6-Supertrapp (8 discs). I'm going to put everything on this week, already have all 12 discs on the Supertrapp and go back on the same dino for a run. The only thing about this dino is that I won't have any torque value, just peak HP. But I need to use it to keep consistency. When I'm all done, I will find a proper dino in my area to get a good dino run with torque and HP read. I might have one more trick down my sleeve... but I want to see how things are first. Open exhaust is out of question for me, just way too loud! That might cost me few peak pony, but I will make up in torque.Make sure you get before AND after hp numbers. It would be nice to see what gains can be made with various setups.
