I have been talking about this for a long time. Well yesterday I finally stripped naked and gotta say that I love how it turned out. I still gotta paint some things. I had the windshield on but took it off and think I will leave it off.

I think it looks a little better with the windscreen, but I'd ideally cut it down three to five inches for better visual balance.

I was thinking of cutting it down. I still wanna mount the headlight to the triple trees but haven't figured out how. I forgot to add that I lowered the front an inch

Looks great dude. I've always been a full-fairing type myself but, seeing yours and other people stripping the 6R naked has looked fantastic. If I ever look for a change of pace in how mine looks a naked look will be considered.

I went naked yesterday too, pictures later. I cannot figure out how to mount my instrument cluster. i see that you still have the plastic parts around your headlight and assembly mounted to that, I removed all of the plastic and have the headlight mounted directly to the forks, I still need to figure out how to angle the headlight down. The cluster is actually attached to the original bracket attached to the back of the headlight assembly, I bet the top of the bracket to lay the cluster flat, but that doesn't seem sturdy. I don't have any way to put a windscreen on the bike with the way I did it. Any close up pictures would be greatly appreciated.

I think im gonnacut the windshield down and see how it looks. Yes I did keep the plastic around the headlight but I cut alot off. I wanted to mount the headlight to the forks also but couldn't figure out a way to really secure it so I used the stock bracket that bolts to the frame but cut a big chunk away where the mirrors would attach to. Ill get close ups later.

Update on what the bike looks like. Painted tank and front fender flat black to match rest of plastics, added carbon fiber tank protector, carbon fiber gas cap accents, shogun frame sliders and car charger port.

When i had the tank off I routed the wire along the frame under the tank and out the hole in the front of the frame. It is very easy install.

Guess I could do that down the shifter side, have my HID wire harness routed down the brake side of tank and PCV.
