This weekend '2Wheel Dyno Works' came to my city and I got my FZ6R tuned up by Nels. I have a TBR Pipe and Juice Box. He got me 5 more ponies and 4-5 more Foot Pounds of torque, and at the same time about 15-20% Better fuel efficiency! :thumbup: I am sad to say that I was so busy talking them up and watching the process that I didn't shoot any video, not even a single picture (IDIOT!) But I did come back the next day and my buddy Alex got his '05 GSXr600 tuned.
When he did my bike it was super fast. He said that the Juice Box allowed him to get the air/fuel ratio right on the level. Said he couldn't get it any straighter if he used a ruler! He and Jared (his cohort) were saying they had never heard an FZ sound so good. Jared has an FZ6 with a TBR pipe and he said my FZ6R sounded way better! It went from 68hp to 73hp. I took her out and noticed an immediate difference. Smoother throttle control with way better response, better torque. I 'goosed it' on the freeway on the way home since they was no one else around and went from 60 to 110 effortlessly in maybe 2 seconds it seemed. Very exhilarating!!
My buddy Alex's bike had been tuned before. He wrecked it last fall and over the winter had fixed it up and got all new plastics going from red with black accents to Black with Red accents. When he first ran it he had 96hp and at the end 99. Not a huge increase but the fuel/air was all over the place and running super rich. By the end he had it bouncing just above and just below the line. Said he should get about 20 more miles to a tank!!
So anyways if you haven't tuned your bike after installing a new exhaust, or PC or Juice Box, you may want to consider it. Best $150 I've spent on my bike in a while!!:thumbup::thumbup:
