I was not a fan of the FZ6's when I sat on several on a trip up to Kalamazoo, MI. Didn't like the way the front end felt and looked from the seat... Seemed very bulky. It's a good looking bike from afar but I would have to pass.

Exactly how I feel. Would love the fz6 engine in our bike.

When buying my bike I found a really nice FZ6 with TONS of mods, bags, top case, everything, but it had 20k miles, asking price was $3k. I almost went and saw it and got it, but something told me to hold on and sure enough Sasha came along and I bought her! I LOVE yellow bikes, lol I don't think I'll ever own a different color bike weather I "upgrade" or just keep Sasha.

FZ6 is a great bike.. would really depend on price, and I would have to add fairing as well... just don't think I'd like a full naked bike for the type of riding I do.
Admin still has his, as do a lot of others... so there is still a great community of info out there as well as aftermarket parts/accessories

i actually came across a 2008 for 4800$. this is not a typo it has 1283 miles on it!

The only thing I prefer on the FZ6 (never having ridden one) would be the motor with extra powah! Looks, the FZ6R takes it hands down!

old + low mileage is not necessarily a good thing.

Rubber seals/hoses can become brittle with little to no use over the years.

I'm a sport bike fan at heart, so not for me. I'd take an FZ8 before the FZ6...

i'd much rather buy a 2008 with a cpl tho miles on it than 20k miles.

go test ride it, you're prob gonna like the engine more, and already said you like the looks... sounds like your next bike just found you!!

My oldest brother has an FZ6S, having ridden it a couple times and whilst it is slightly faster with more HP
...the ergo's, looks and overall feel of the bike dont come close to my XJ6S

im not a honda person lol but my dad has the fz8 its ok and all but not much for any wind protection even with the windscreen hes got.
