FZ-07 vs SV 650 vs CBR650F vs Ninja 650

I just got the October issue of Motorcyclist and they did a comparison between these bikes. Here's how they ranked:

1. FZ-07
2. SV650
3. CBR650F
4. Ninja 650

I haven't read it all yet, other than to see the rankings, but they rated the FZ-07 and SV650 very high on the "Fun" scale. I'm going to guess that's because of the torquey twins.

09 won best bang for the buck too!

They are both awesome bikes.

09 is a ton of engine and speed for the money thats for sure.

I took a peak at the 07 the other day. It's a nice ride, very well made for the $$$. Just like the FZ09, doesn't look cheap and from few review I've seen the 07 is still quite torquy and fun to ride.

Don't think Yamaha is making the 6R beyond 2014. There's no 2015 on their site.

Fine by me, I'm already sold on the FZ-09, unless they make a bike similar to the Suzuki Bandit 1200. That would be awesome...

somebody posted about a possible sport tourer based on the fz-09 that would be a really good next option. Picture was pretty cool looking.

Nope. Not my cup of tea. Prefer the naked to that. If they use the triple in a faired bike I'd be interested.

well if they are cutting out the FZ6R that is going to leave just the R6 and R1 fully faired?
