So I've had my bike for a little over a year now and i dont regret buying it whatsoever, only thing is, i need a car for how often i go places and the bike isn't as practical at getting to the grocery store or driving through the snow if you know what i mean...Maybe down the road i will buy another bike but for now i really need a car to get to places. 2009 Raven Yamaha FZ6R
- 5300 miles
-Has had all major routine maintenance done to it. Oil change and first service at 800 miles and oil change at 4000 miles
-New rear tire installed July 2011, with chain and tire alignment done professionally
-600 cc engine
-after market exhaust
-45 mpg
- inline 4
- garage stored
- barely any chips or scratches
- never been laid down
- frame sliders
- flush mount turn signals
Overall this is a great beginner bike. Prior to me buying this bike i had only ridden a dirt bike twice and got addicted to it so i settled with the FZ6R. I have learned a lot on this bike and it has done me well. It has the great mid to top end power and offers plenty of torque for canon riding. I loved going on twisties and the 6R handles extremely well. This bike has never been laid down. It has a brand new tire on it that i had installed because the stock wasn't cutting it for me, It's a great tire for commuting and taking the twistes on a warm weekend ride. Plenty of grip on the outside and great stability while riding. This bike is also great for long rides compared to the R6 or other SS bikes.

- FE eliminator kit
- Intergrated Tail light with LED strips included for blinker (see pic)
- Marthy Viper exhaust mod (i used the 2003 R6 headers)
- Shogun Frame Sliders
- New rear tire with only 250 miles on it (Bridge stone battalX BT016R hyper sport)
Gear that's included:
- Icon Overlord Leather jacket (2XL, I'am about 6' 2" 205 and it fits perfect) // Great jacket for pre-winter/winter ridding and some warm weather ridding. It has armor padding in the elbows, shoulders, and spine protector. You will get hot in the summer but you will barely get any road rash since its leather. has a removable liner for warmer riding.
- Scorpion EXO 400 Helmet with chrome/mirror visor (2XL, the helmet is a little loose for me but still fits my head fine) // Great helmet that i have used for a year, has shown some wear and tear but will still provide protection in the event of a crash. The visor is a little chewed up from pebbles and gravel hitting it but you can still see clearly out of it.
- Icon Pursuit mesh black gloves (2XL, you know what they say about big hands....you'll need big gloves!
just bought these about a month ago, great for summer riding as they are very breathable, premium knuckle protection while not making your hands hot.
- Tour master transition series 2 jacket (XL, fits snug on my body type) // great touring jacket, offers great cooling with the ventilation system it has. Can be seen easily with the reflective strips. Plenty of pockets for long trips, keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Has a removable liner for colder and warmer riding. Offers protection padding in elbows, shoulders and spine
