Chewing gum while wearing a full face helmet

I've decided that chewing gum while wearing a full face (Shoei RF-1100) helmet is not advisable.

(Think I'll skip the bubblegum test, too.)

(...and thank goodness I don't chew.)

But since I smoke a pipe, I may need to find a really curvy pipe to exhaust under my chin bar.

(I wonder if I can mod the chin vent somehow...?)

Gum is not advisable but possibly pumping smoke into your helmet seems like a way to go.. :facepalm: I guess it comes down to priorities of individuals. Kindof reminds me of someone smoking a cigar while jogging... More power to you if that's your bag though.

I've made that mistake before. I either have to just hold the gum in my cheek, or chew on my cheeks a little bit.

depending on how much pressure is on your checks you could bite yourself.

Ahh, ok. My helmets pretty tight, but I don't chew a lot. Usually have my gum in my cheek. Haven't bit myself yet. LOL

Haven't even thought of trying. My helmet is a tight fit. It may help with the cottonmouth I get while riding.

I thought about that, but after this experience (!@#$%^&* Wasp!!!), I'm afraid to expose any more flesh than necessary.

I quit smoking almost exactly a year ago and chew gum all the time now. Not nicorette, just regular gum. Replaced one habit with another. Think this one's a little safer.

You can get a keyboard vacuum, reverse the fan and re-assemble
use some tubing to connect the keyboard vacuum to end of your pipe
Need some sort of torch lighter

Now when you hit the button on the keyboard vacuum it will power shot from your pipe.

Connect that piping's other end to your chin vent. On the inside of helmet, where the chin vent air comes out (near the windscreen) use those hospital like tubing for breathing.
Insert into your nose.

You can now smoke w a full face :wtfgun:

That is a SPECTACULAR idea!

I wonder if Marthy or Rabbitman109 already have a mod for this?

I've never smoked my pipe through my nose, but hey... don't knock it until you try it, right?

I think I'll wire it up so that it is connected to the horn, and then wire up a connector to a rotating mini-LED-disco-ball inside the Power Crystal.

That way, whenever I need a hit, I just toot the horn like a morphine bolus (which plays "...low...ride...er..." by War, of course) and the mini-LED-disco-ball lights up changing LED colors as it rotates.

PARTY ON!!!

(I gotta add matching LEDs to my chim-chiminey rooftop vents to complete the package.)
