Backpack for work travel

I'm starting to look around for a backpack for travel to work and the gym. It needs to be able to hold a shirt shorts and a pair of shoes. It doesn't have to be a backpack specifically for motorcycling or anything.
I've had an L.L.Bean backpack for 7 years and it's starting to wear out as you might expect. So If you've had a nice one that you have enjoyed please let me know. Thanks.

I've been using the same north face bag for about 10 years with heavy use. Can't beat the build quality.

I have been using an old skate satchel into which I sewed 6 rare earth magnets, thus becoming a magnetic tank bag -works a treat and carries a change of clothes plus extras.

What I would love to get some day is a Kriega tank & tail setup for day to day and touring

I got the Kriega US-20. Thing is friggin magical.
No need to wear a backpack. The Kriega comes with subframe loops that stay on the bike. Also has a carry strap n what not.

I commuted 40 miles a day with a backpack for a few months and was SOOO happy to get rid of it. Love the Kriega.

Have a link for some pictures.
A bit on the pricey side as seen here, but worth its weight in gold IMO.
