Aftermarket brake pedal?

Has anyone changed out their brake pedal successfully? I've always hated the oem since day 1 and was thinking of switching it now that at 15k miles the rubber is worn, the metal is slightly bent (from dropping the bike in the early days of learning), and i have plenty of excuses .

Thinking about buying this:

Hm, taking a look at the brake pedal itself, this won't work. I wonder if there's a workaround.

Why won't the linked products work and what don't you like about the OEM?
I'd like to adjust the position of mine at least.
