Nastybutler still has the 6R.. If I remember right he was going to gear it up for the wife. (Giving UNO the luggage for free JK). But I do believe he is still a proud owner, and besides, we are a group not just an ownership association.

Okay, if you say so, but the history of one brand is quite well documented as less than stellar.
I mean I am sure since you ride a Triumph you are quite bias toward it, anyways why are you here on a Yamaha site, oh I see you own a FZ6R?
See highlighted, yeah and a couple hundred goes a long ways on mods, heck you can buy a Martin R6 exhaust for that.
Seriously, downplay it all you want! (shake head) :bitchslap:
I'm not about to get into an argument on the internet over this. Especially with someone who has never ridden a Street Triple. Is it as reliable as the 6R? Nope. Is it WAY more fun? You bet your ass it is. I didn't buy it to be a commuter or daily driver. I kept the 6R for those type of duties. Not that the ST3 isn't capable of it; I just didn't get it for that. I got it because it's the most fun you can have on two wheels.
Side note: S3 is the Speed Triple. ST3 is the Street Triple. Easy to confuse the two. Wish Triumph had done a better job of nameing them.
