2013 Yamaha Bike News...

someone posted this article on the 2013 R6, and I guess it's not going to see any changes... Dunno if this means the entire sport bike line is going to remain the same. But, the 2012 R1 was a major flop, as it came in dead last in all the bike comparisons due to it's weight gain (475 lbs) and lack of power & agility... am guessing that the FZ6R probably won't have many changes either than, other than cosmetics again... but, will have to see.

with "dismal sales" especially in the USA sportbike arena... I don't see Yamaha making any changes. We were lucky they brought the FZ8 over here...

It wouldn't surprise me to see another beginner bike come around in the near future... Honda had a hit with it's CBR250

Americans just don't get biking as a mode of transport, they are considered "toys", look overseas though and people realize for day-day use, getting 50-100 (skooters) mpg makes a lot of sense. Heck, they even have 125cc sport bikes.

Agree! Those were all over the place when i was in Italy. I feel like Yammy are falling back a bit. They have awesome bikes but without any changes they will loose there edge. Just so much you can do at swapping sticker and colors year after year...

i got my 6R not too long ago kinda lgad it wont change I would be pretty pissed.... lol
