I got $5,700 trade allowance for my FZ6R. The bike had 2,400 miles on it and was in excellent condtion. The GSXR I bought was a new '08 with no miles on it and it was heavily discounted.

Mine did the exact same thing for the first 100-150 miles, but shifting smoothed out thereafter. After my 1st oil change at 600 miles the shifting smoothed out even more.

Nice video. Amazing how the HERO video camera blocks out all the wind noise, but captures the sound of the engine very clear. Have you also tried the suction cup mount on the gas tank?

I have the clear Yamaha Raised bubble. It does make a difference at higher speeds, but I think the angle of the stock shield is more sporty.
