Hey if you kept your old plugs, you could do some testing and either chase down the offending bad plug, or straight up swap the entire old set back in to see if the plugs aren’t your problem. Also, and this is unlikely, but perhaps one or more of the new plugs have a goofy gap. Stranger things...

Ohhh you must be referring to the AIS system... two little hoses that run to the valve cover? I deleted that system when I went with exhaust and fuel controller.

I would go back into her and verify that the plug wires are all snapped down tightly. They should've clicked when you pressed down on them. *Sidenote: make sure you remove the adapter fittings from the plug ends. I had a subscriber insist that he left his on, but I honestly don't understand how...

Get a good grip on the air box and sort of rock it back and forth toward the front and rear of the bike (not sideways)... it'll pop off the throttle bodies eventually with a "rocking/wiggling" motion.

I heard rumor that someone over in the FZ6 forums apparently fitted an R1 rear monoshock to their FZ6... I'm curious..

There is an idle adjustment screw right inside the frame on the left side of the bike. It is addressed on page 3-8 of the factory service manual. Make that adjustment when she's at full operating temp. You may also want to sync your throttle bodies.

Anyone know if there’s a generation of R6 adjustable rear shock that’ll swap directly onto the Fizzer?

For anyone interested in the ultimate outcome of this experiment, I'll continue updating this thread over the long-term. I've opted for the compromise of a -1/+3 setup from Vortex; that's 15/49. I'll report back on results from the track.
