Hey brother, how did that AGM battery work out for you? I believe my FZ6R is due for a battery, either that or a stator....but i'm going to start with the battery since it is easiest.
Have you looked into Luimoto.com ?? They make seat covers for all kinds of bikes and they have some available for the FZ6R....they may not be the most "cushiony" option for our bike, but they look really nice and only cost US $50.00. I may have to try them out before i go and splurge $200.00+...
The bulb you say? Hmm, sounds reasonable, but Isn't it the same bulb that is the high and low beam? Why would low beam work and not high beam? Well if it is the bulb, I guess that would give be a reason to pull apart the whole front end and maybe put a projector and HID while I'm fixing it...
I've had my bike since May 2011, got it brand new and now have about 30,000 miles on it. And just the other day I noticed that my high beam doesn't work, my low beam turns on, but I flip the switch to high beam and I have no light :/ could it just be a fuse or something? Somebody plz help me...
i just recently started learning clutch wheelies on my FZ6R and i've learned so far how to get the front end up in the air everytime. what i do is take the bike to about 5k rpm(keeping the throttle constant), and i simultaneously let off throttle a little bit, squeeze in clutch, and then pop it...
Another thing to keep in mind ppl. I would always fill up on my way home From work, about 2 blocks before getting to my house. I tell you this because before getting to my house there its a long straight away where I love to practice my wheelies;-) So I suspect doing wheelies on a full tank is...
When you open the gas cap, the metal extends out into the take forming a bucket shape with a hole at the bottom.... Also when you open the gas cap, look on the outside and there's a little hole with an orange washer around it...if you overfill gas splashes into it causing problems.
Yes that's to were I usually fill it to.... Just touching the metal bucket. But the mechanic at the dealership said to fill about an inch under the bucket. Touching it is already too much.
Power loss issue resolved! ;-)
Just recently, my fz6r was having a power loss issue it has now been resolved. It was due to having gasoline in the emissions canister. This is caused by over filling the gas tank and when taking off or stopping quickly, it would spill out the tank and in to those...
Attention everybody! My fz6r is back from the dealer and better than ever! The "power loss"issue it was having was due to having gasoline in the emissions canister which was making the bike "bog"out. This is caused by over filling the gas tank. I know its a rookie mistake but its kind of ok...
Yes it could be a bad connection....but wouldn't that be something that would happen right away, not 1yr later..? I'm sorry I just can't seem to understand how something electrical can fail with time. Maybe there is a bad connection, its making there rectifier/regulator over charge or under...
