    Glad you're (relatively) OK. If you have insurance, you should hope it's NOT salvageable. It would suck to have it repaired and then find some hidden damage a year later, like a crack in something that gets bigger in time. I would try to get a new bike out of this, but that's just my opinion...

    Not that's any of my business, but it's customary for the buyer to arrange shipping. You can start here and get lots of quotes fro different companies: uShip - The Online Shipping Marketplace - Ship Freight, Furniture, Cars or Moves Many people I ride with found their shippers through there.

    I don't think you should focus on the Goo Gone. My opinion: 1.) Paper towels messed up the clear coat. You can not rub paint with paper towels, not even with just water. Use microfiber towels next time and NEVER reuse them on paint again, even after washing them. I found out the hard way...

    Goo Gone? I have used it on at least a dozen cars and bikes, NEVER with any negative results (other than sometimes goo not being gone) Are you confusing it with Goof Off?
