    Speed and Strength gear

I dunno about SS stuff. My initial reaction was that they're trying too hard and that just kinda turned me off of the whole brand. It just seems kind of... gaudy I guess

My 6r shoots rockets when I press it, I thought that was a stock feature...

Hey guys! New member, soon-to-be FZ6R owner! Need some advice.

I doubt I'm going to be modding my bike until I get my 6R, but thanks, man. I will for sure let you know if I need an exhaust.

Hey guys! New member, soon-to-be FZ6R owner! Need some advice.

I'm 5'8/5'9 depending on the day. You know what? You guys are a lot more experienced than I am and know what's best when it comes to riding. As much as it sucks to say this, I'm going to go with a 300cc. I'd much rather get comfortable riding at first and then upgrade when I feel ready. I was...

Hey guys! New member, soon-to-be FZ6R owner! Need some advice.

Took a look at the used 2012, it's got 1700 or so miles on it, in great physical condition, and it's got OES frame sliders on it (the dude had no idea that the bike had been modded lol). The only things I disliked were that the bike had some dirt on it, there were stickers under the rear grab...

Hey guys! New member, soon-to-be FZ6R owner! Need some advice.

Spoke to the dealer for the used FZ6R. Using AnthonyFZ6R's advice, he offered me 6400 OTD. Gonna go take a casual look at the bike, look for scratches, paint chipping, etc and let him know I'm just stopping by and that I'm having a look at some other places as well. Not trying to beat him up...

Hey guys! New member, soon-to-be FZ6R owner! Need some advice.

Yeah, the more and more I think about it, a used bike seems best. There's a used 2012 raven with 1600 miles going for 6300. Best part is that its 20 min from my parent's place in CT. If I buy within CT, I won't have to worry about registration, etc and my OTD price will be just that. Stupid...

Hey guys! New member, soon-to-be FZ6R owner! Need some advice.

I mean, I'll do the Experienced/Advanced rider courses through them for free, but you know, man. I'm just trying to play it safe. :D

Hey guys! New member, soon-to-be FZ6R owner! Need some advice.

Well, the thing with the BRC through the military is that they don't supply the bikes and you'd need your own in order to take the course. This would force me into a time crunch, and this is a decision I don't want to rush. Also, I'll be damned if I drop my bike at the MSF lol.

Hey guys! New member, soon-to-be FZ6R owner! Need some advice.

A couple of fellow Marines have bikes and stuff. I'm pretty sure I could ask one of them to teach me a little bit.

Hey guys! New member, soon-to-be FZ6R owner! Need some advice.

The dealer was all like "Blah blah blah, 15% off since it's for your new bike, blah blah blah." They must have all gotten a good laugh off of me when I left the establishment. :disapprove:

Hey guys! New member, soon-to-be FZ6R owner! Need some advice.

There are a ton of stickers on the tank, haha. I'm not sure if I want to take them off or not yet. We'll see. Gotta focus on getting the bike first! I guess that all of this is more than a little intimidating. Maybe I'm just being a *****, but I don't want to mess it up lol. I wonder if there...

Hey guys! New member, soon-to-be FZ6R owner! Need some advice.

Yeah, you're right. I'll be calling that other dealership tomorrow and asking about the details. Unfortunately, they're about 2 hours away, so going there often would be a hassle. I will, however, be calling and inquiring tomorrow. Regarding the bike, I know exactly what you're saying and have...

Hey guys! New member, soon-to-be FZ6R owner! Need some advice.

It's a new bike. They're charging $255.00 for labor alone and around $150 for the parts. Well, the catch here is that I won't be paying sales tax, registration fee, or the inspection fee because I will be registering the bike in CT, the state my driver's license is in. I probably should have...
