Aftermarket mirrors

Hi!

I am looking to put some new mirrors on my Fz6r.

I am looking for something wide that would be ideal for highway use. I am currently using mirrors from a Ninja 250. They are narrow and these are good for the city because of the clearance when filtering but useless on the open road. Trucks literally overtake me by surprise because I can't see anything behind me!

What are my options? I am not sure which mirrors will fit because of the mount type. If I cannot find any mirrors that I can put where they are supposed to go I will put some on my handlebars.

I don't like the stock mirrors.

What has everyone else done?

To be honest the stock mirrors are really good, I can see everything around me. Did the bike come with stock mirrors and you changed them or did it come with ninja mirrors for some reason.

I believe you when you say the stock mirrors are good. It's just I think they look ugly. I don't want them on my bike.

My bike is second hand and came with the ninja mirrors already on. But he gave me the stock mirrors too. I stupidly threw them in the bin when I moved house.

... options? ...
IMO bar end mounted mirrors are the way to go, look up what styles you like on Fleabay and what matches your budget.
Depending on the selected style, you can mount them so they sit above your hands or underneath, or on the outside of the bar.

I have fold away bar mounts from CRG (like below image) which are pretty nice and they fold with a quick flick of the wrist when split[COUGH] filter through traffic

On a previous bike had cheapy Rizoma rip-offs from Fleabay, which did the job well too

Sorry about my late reply. I do a lot of lane filtering so I think these will just annoy me!

Heres a few different angles.. They mount up just like stock mirrors, so no modifications needed.
Sorry about my late reply.

Those mirrors look perfect! I will buy them now! Thanks :)

Do you know which year they are? I want the same so there is no guess work. They look like 2013-2015.
