Just come back from a weekend on the North Norfolk coast with my partner on our XJ6 Diversions. This was out first trip away since we started biking three months ago so it was a bit of a test to see how we got on.

Weather was perfect, warm, dry and sunny. Did about 100 miles from home down to West Runton, stayed overnight at a B&B then took the coast road up to Hunstanton, stopping off at a few places on the way.

Photo shows my red diversion and partners blue one. I've fitted a Power Bronze Airflow (double bubble) light tint screen to mine and she has the genuine Yamaha accessory flip-up screen option. I had that fitted to my bike originally but found that my head was right in the turbulent air coming over the top (I'm 5'11"), works fine for her though as she is shorter than me. The Power Bronze one while not much taller than the original is more effective and cheaper than the Yamaha flip-up screen.

Tailpacks are Kriega US20+US10 on mine and US-10 on her bike. Managed to get two pairs of trainers, jeans, T-shirts, toiletries, bike lock+chain, and her RST leather bike trousers in them, I was quite impressed with just how much you can pack into them.

Only thing I found was that after a couple of hours on the bike, that seat was begining to feel more like the pointy edge of a triangle than a foam padded seat:eek:

Sounds like a great time. make sure you wash the bike after being near the beach. Salt spray can rust and corrode very quickly, escpecailly take care of the chain. Do you have any more pictures to share of your adventure. :)

Didn't get take many photo's but here's three more.

Hunstanton is a really popular place with bikers, on a weekend in the summer the red tarmac area, which runs along the sea front is packed with every kind of bike.

Nice, how would you rate the Kreiga luggage out of 10 Geko?, I've had my eye on that stuff, and yep would agree its def' not a touring seat, ouch !

I'm impressed with it, it's quite expensive but it appears very well made and the design well thought out. I checked them out in a store along with other tail packs before I bought them.

What I like is the modular approach; I can attach one, or both US-10s to the US-20. It's a bit fiddly to do it but not difficult. The modular approach is good for us with two bikes since we can both have a US-10 on each bike or put the US20+US10 on one of the bikes for extra stuff or put all three on the one bike. Also I believe you can add a US-10 to a R25/R35 rucksack.

They have a waterproof inner liner for the main compartment that is held in place with velcro around the opening. There is also an open mesh compartment on one side and a zip pocket on the other side which is handy for documents/papers etc.

I'd give it 9/10 - it loses a point for price.

One other point which may be down to my leathers being new and a bit stiff, with the US20+US10 on the back, trying to get my leg over the bike was a great source of amusement to my other half :)
