I'm with you bro. That's frickin' Hilarious!

Let's set the stage: I've got a frickin' scooter. My scooter just doesn't have enough power. God forbid I get a motorcycle. Too much trouble. So I'm going to mod my scooter and get all the power I can out of the 1 horsepower motor.

Then I can run the twisties! I can do sweepers and shit!

I got stuck four cars back behind a frickin scooter today. I watched an old lady jump into the other lane, on a blind corner in a no passing zone, just so she could do 50 in a 55 because the scooter doing 40 was just too slow for her.

She made the jump into oncoming traffic. She made it. The oncoming car nearly went off the road, trying to avoid her.

Know what? On second thought, mod that scooter to hell and back! Make it go like it was real vehicle! We'd all be safer. l. o. l.

i used to have a scooter Cygnus X (same engine as the zuma) and modded it, it was a fun toy! its either on or off and weighs nothing! i also had the TBR on it for abit! 10inch shorty Pipe!

Now that im bike less I'm on a scooter for college.

Most people mod them so they will pull hills better.

And scooters are extremely convenient. A lot of underseat storage and a front glove compartment, all while getting 80mpg+

But damnit I miss my bike

I'm not down on scooters. They definitely have their place. Around town it would be very useful. I'm also sure I'd feel differently if a scooter were all I had for transport. Then I'd be all about scooter rider's rights, and it's a public road, and how I didn't have a choice but to travel to the next town, and so forth.

My first motorized vehicle was an old Honda moped I got when I was 12 or so. The thing had a top speed of maybe thirty, and was kick-started using the pedals. I loved that little bike! I rode the heck out of it, until it gave up the ghost. I never tried to take it into town, though. As much as I would have liked to, it just seemed like a dumb idea.

On what SC calls "highways" between towns, they really just shouldn't be out there. One lane, mostly no passing zones, and pretty well traveled. Traffic backs up pretty quickly and then people get stupid.

I can't do anything about it, so I rant in the forum. :)

That is quite fun vehicle. I used to ride some old Honda back in the days and it did teach me to wear helmet on two wheels all the time :)

Now, as my wife refuse to get her auto license we are getting her 50 cc Zuma (bws in Canada) or maybe something else.

By the way, not only "sport" exhaust available, but whole bunch of stuff, including big bore (70 cc) piston kit, sporty variator and many many more upgrades. You can actually go wheelie on it. For 125 I guess even more


Wonder if any scooter races are taking place
