yet another exhaust question

Speaking of loading it in trucks.What did you use a 2''x4''?
Good ramps are handy.I dont have a garage, so I bring my bike up onto the patio alot.
I love my tri fold Harbor Freight ramps to death.I keep seeing coupons for them in magazines for $79.99.
They have chains to keep them from kicking out, plus you can walk up beside the bike if you need to.
I know you have it home already, but those things are worth every penny.

nope they were two aluminum ramps made by werner i put them together ( the link together) to make one big ramp so i could go up the middle

Jon? The bike is awesome as it is. I often speak of my CB900F. I could only back it on my toes. That means not much at all. I had a lowering link on the rear. It helped. It lowered the bike. That meant it scraped. I learned to live with it. I only backed it when there was no other option and I always had to be cognizant of the fact that it was lower.

You've made no secret of the fact that your inseam is shorter than the average rider. Perhaps looking for an exhaust with a lower profile is pushing it. You've got an awesome frickin' ride. There are limits to it's modibility, though. It's not an SS, but it's still a Sport Bike.

Seems to me you need to keep it quiet, and not try to put into any more trucks...

I'm going to speak up here. Imagine offloading a motorcycle down a ramp, from the the back of a truck. There's nowhere for your feet to touch. You can't sit on it and back it down. You've got to do it from the side.

The bike weighs more than 400lbs. Trying to balance it and and back it down? A big guy might could muscle it down. The rest of us? If it leans, it's going over. Cut the poor guy some slack.

its not necessarily the ground clearance i want it multiple things out of it... taking of a fe pounds could really make a difference but i will admit that the bike is awesome the way it is....however changes WILL be made everybody does it...

keep it quiet? the bike? or me? cuz if your telling me to be quiet.....i never shut up i talk people to death its both a curse and a blessing....

A full exhaust is over a thousand bucks, plus with all the accessories you have bought, maybe you should cool it for a while on the spending and just ride it. I'm no stranger to being a short motorcycle rider but I learn to ride them as is but just with a lowering link added. Guaranteed i am shorter than you. Just learn to ride it as is.... It will make you a better rider in the long run.

If you like the sound, stick with the stock. If it does actually give you clearance issues then you can upgrade. No reason to be in a hurry! Focus on the title, then focus on enjoying. Once you ride for a while, you'll know what you need to upgrade.

oh im not planing on doing this any time soon, im just researching..... i like to research for future plans its more out of curiosity i suppose..
