You don't need bike stands to do the 600mi. The oil actually drains better when the bike is just on the kickstand (they put the plug on the same side as the kickstand :thumbup: for them). I bought a metal filter wrench from autozone (F style is the size) for $6, other than that all you need is a measuring device to check the slack in the chain ~1".
