I think my favorite "it's too hot for gear" combination I see semi-frequently is shorts, a beater, no gloves, but a full-face helmet. Why bother with the helmet at that point? It's not like your brain is formulating logical conclusions to warrant the protection...

How do you like the Stryker vest? I was seriously considering it as an add-on when I was looking at the Overload Jackets. I ended up going with a Dainese Racing Jacket in the end though, as the jacket itself fit me much better (which is more important IMO) and bought a Wave G to supplement it.

It's great. I don't wear a jacket with it so I'm not sure about wearing it under something. Great back and chest protection though.
