Random starting hiccup

So I've had no problems with the 6r so far. Only has 300 miles on it. Went out to a bike show today and after leaving about a hour or so later popped the key in pressed the start switch and click. Three times. Had to give it some throttle to get going. Starts fine now. Any similar experiences.

My bike had a similar issue when restarting when the bike was real hot plus hot weather. I would have to blip the throttle a few times to keep it from cutting out. Only happened a few times on real hot days.

That was today. Really hot outside and a hot bike in the sun. Makes more sense now. Thanks bro had me a bit worried.

Open the gas cap and see if it starts easier.

If it makes you guys feel any better, my 675 does the same thing.

I have to hold the rpm at like 2-3k for like 15 seconds before I can let it idle.

I'd take that problem any day :)
Yes, but it comes with all the other problems too. :(

Fwiw, I do get a slight vacuum on the fuel lid when its in the sun. I should probably investigate the fuel vent line.
